A linked group is a set of drawing entities from a specific sorted group or from the whole filtered and sorted selection set of drawing entities know as 'Main group'. To add a linked group, right click on the 'Spreadsheet linked groups' node and select 'Add linked group'. The name of the linked group can be edited by selecting the linked group node and then left clicking on it to activate the editing mode.
1. Linked entity group. The corresponding linked sort group can be selected from the 'Linked entity group' list. The 'Main group' is the default and represents all the filtered and sorted entities contained in the entity selection set. If there's no sorted groups defined, only the 'Main group will' be shown in the list.
2. Blank rows between subgroups. If there's more than one subgroup defined, blank rows can be inserted between them.
3. Include linked group cell ranges with each entity. This option will process each entity separately and include all the linked cell ranges and linked groups defined with each of them.

In the first example above(fig. 1), 2 polylines were selected and their corresponding X and Y coordinates were sent to the report in a continuous list. In the second example (fig. 2), the 'Include linked group cell ranges with each entity' option was checked and the linked group which include header cells was included with each processed polyline.
4. Add as a subgroup when possible. When this option is checked, the linked group will be considered as a subgroup of the previous linked group if the corresponding sort group position is greater than the previous sorted group position in the list.

In the above examples, a selection set of drawing entities has been sorted and grouped by color, then by linetype and finally by area (fig. 3). Each spreadsheet linked group was linked to the corresponding sorted group, in the same order. In fig. 4 the option 'Add as subgroup when possible' was checked, resulting in the corresponding area subgroups included after each linetype group. In fig. 5 the option 'Add as subgroup when possible' was not checked, so the color group was processed first, then the linetype groups and finally the area groups.
How to add a linked group:
1. Select the 'Spreadsheet linked groups' node.
2. Select 'Add linked group' from the context menu.
