Purpose:
To remove collinear vertices from polylines specifying a minimum deflection angle.
Command sequence:
Minimum deflection angle <0.001>:[Specify decimal degree value]
Select polylines: 1 found
Select polylines:[Press ENTER to finish selection]
1 vertices removed, 1 polylines processed.
Comments:
· The deflection angle is the angle between a polyline segment and the projected extension of the previous segment. If the segments are collinear the deflection angle is equal to zero. Deflection angle values must be between 0 and 180 decimal degrees. Segments with a deflection angle less than the minimum deflection angle will be removed from the polyline.
· You can use this command after joining closed polylines to remove any resulting collinear or cocircular vertices.
