Defined names can be used to refer to cell ranges instead of using address notation. Defined names can be used in cell formula references instead of cell range addresses.

1. Defined name node. To add a defined name node, right click on the Defined Names Node and select 'New Defined Name' from the context menu. The default name can be changed to a meaningful name to better describe the contents of the range.
2. Refers to. The range address the defined name refers to. By default the current selected range address is shown.
