AutoCAD Screenshot

Using this tool images from the AutoCAD screen can be created defining a rectangle frame and then inserted inside a selected spreadsheet cell range. Image color can be converted to black and white, grayscale or as shown on screen, defining horizontal and vertical alignment inside a spreadsheet cell range. Background color can be forced to white to give the image the appearance of a plotted drawing.

1.      Color conversion. Image color can be transformed into black and white, grayscale or kept as shown on screen.

2.      Horizontal image alignment. Image can be aligned horizontally at the center, left or right inside a cell range.

3.      Vertical image alignment. Image can be aligned vertically at the center, top or bottom of a cell range.

4.      Force background color to white. Background color can be replaced with white to give the appearance of a plotted drawing.

Tip: Before taking the screenshot, zoom to the extents of the area that will be processed with the ZOOM AutoCAD command to get more detail. This way the resulting image will have the maximum resolution possible.
